Privacy policy

01Who we are

This policy applies to IA Vertex (the "Site"), operated by IA Vertex, domiciled in Santiago, Chile. You are responsible for reviewing this policy each time you use the Site.

02What data we collect

We collect information you provide directly and data generated automatically by your use of the Site.

Data you give us directly

• Identification: name, email, phone, tax ID (only if you issue a company invoice).
• Business: your company name, industry, size, social media.
• Contact: the content of your messages in forms, WhatsApp or email.
• Payment: we don't process online payments yet. When we enable that option, card data will be handled by the payment gateway (MercadoPago) and will never reach our servers.

Automatically generated data

• Basic technical data: standard server logs (approximate IP, device and browser type) generated when the site loads.
• Functional cookies: we remember your language preference and your cookie decision.
• No third-party tracking: we don't use advertising pixels or marketing cookies (Meta, Google Ads, etc.).

03What we use it for

We only use your data for specific purposes related to providing our services:

• Handle your request: answer contact forms, generate demos, send proposals.
• Provide the service: deliver membership, advisory or contracted implementation.
• Billing: issue a receipt or electronic invoice to the SII as applicable.
• Communication: send emails about your account, products or service changes.
• Marketing (only with your consent): newsletter, promotions, educational content.
• Product improvement: aggregated and anonymous analysis of Site usage.

We do not use your data to sell, rent or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes.

04Who we share data with

We work with providers that process data on our behalf. Each one meets security standards equivalent to ours:

• Vercel — site hosting and infrastructure.
• MercadoPago — payment processing (planned; will be activated when we enable online payments).
• Brevo — email marketing, transactional communications and lead capture.
• Zoho Mail — corporate email.
• SII Chile — issuance of electronic receipts and invoices (legal obligation).
• Cal.com — session scheduling (if you book one).
• Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate visit measurement. Only activated if you give your consent; if you decline, it is not loaded.

We never share your data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

05Your rights

As the owner of your personal data, you have the following rights guaranteed by Chilean law:

• Access: know what data we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct incorrect or outdated data.
• Cancellation (deletion): ask us to delete your data.
• Objection: object to the use of your data for marketing.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured format (CSV, JSON).
• Restriction: restrict the use of your data to specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacidad@iavertex.com. We respond within 15 business days.

If you believe we do not respect your rights, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (once established under Law No. 21.719).

06Cookies

We use two types of cookies:

• Essential: keep your session and remember your language. These can't be disabled.
• Analytics (require your consent): Google Analytics 4, to understand in aggregate how the site is used and improve it. They are not loaded until you accept them.
• No marketing: we don't use advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn).

On your first visit we show a banner to accept or reject analytics cookies, with both options equally accessible. Browsing or closing the site does not count as acceptance. You can change your decision at any time from Cookie preferences in the footer.

07Data retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes:

• Account and subscription data: while you have an active account + 5 years after canceling (tax obligation).
• Billing data: 6 years (SII requirement).
• Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Analytics cookies: 14 months maximum (Google Analytics).

After these periods, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

08Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) across the whole site.
• Encryption at rest in the databases.
• Restricted access to authorized personnel.
• Incident notification as required by law.

However, no system is 100% secure. If you detect an incident, write to us immediately at seguridad@iavertex.com.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. If the changes are material, we will notify you via:

• Email to the address you registered with.
• Visible notification when you log in.
• Banner on the site for 30 days.

Continued use of the site after the changes constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree, you can cancel your account.
